Liesl & Mason | Attimo Winery Christiansburg Virginia Wedding Photography

It happened to be St. Patrick’s Day when Liesl and Mason first met at a Montgomery County Chamber event. They hit it off immediately and found they both love playing darts at Champs, golfing, and visiting wineries to name a few. It made perfect sense for these two to marry on St. Patrick’s Day and that is just what they did! The ceremony took place at the Blacksburg Baptist Church followed by a reception at Attimo Winery in Christiansburg. A lot of thought went into the details including using Mason’s old baseballs for the rings, “mason” jars on the tables, glass bottles from Liesl’s Dad’s antique collection, homemade cupcakes and pecan pies, a cake stand made by Liesl’s Dad, and granola favors, a recipe that Liesl’s grandmother used to make. Also, Liesl and Mason love the movie Up so they brought along a bright grouping of balloons for some images and they turned out so cute!
