Sara & Taylor Married | Martha Washington Inn Abingdon Virginia Wedding Photography

Several years ago Sara was checking out this really great food blog called Taylor Takes a Taste. Little did she know she would end up meeting the photographer and writer, Taylor, and marrying him! For the proposal, Taylor drove several hours to Sara’s favorite bakery, Mickey’s Pastry Shop in Goldsboro, North Carolina, to buy one of her favorite cakes. He hid it in the fridge along with a ring and a camera and popped the big question once she opened the fridge door! For the big day, they chose the Memorial Chapel at Emory & Henry College, an area that has been special to Sara’s family for years. The reception was held at the gorgeous Martha Washington Inn and included some very fitting decorations of antique books and plates. The White Chocolate Band really rocked the house especially when they came out on the dance floor with their guitars! Oh and this family loves to high five! 🙂 Congratulations Sara and Taylor!
