Jennie and Sam chose two of my absolute favorite venues, St. Andrews Catholic Church in Roanoke and Sundara in Boones Mill, Virginia. The best word to describe these two is foodies. This really showed at their reception where they had a variety of food stations so guests could try out all sorts of foods and mingle along the way. Stations included polish and philly fusion, italian, and my favorite, chicken and waffles! After the ceremony in such a gorgeous church, we headed to Sundara for some images of the bridal party and newlyweds. We borrowed Tom’s antique Jeep pickup truck and found huge crates of apples being harvested in the orchard, the best props ever! Everyone was welcomed into the tent by a tunnel of ribbon wands and then the party started with some hilarious toasts and dancing. Right before I left, they were having a dollar dance where in exchange for a dollar, the guest could dance with either the bride or groom and received a thank you shot!
