This was the Rossbach family’s first time visiting the Adkins Arboretum in Ridgely, Maryland and my first time as well! It had to be the most perfect spot for two boys full of energy, a 400 acre preserve of the Chesapeake Bay region’s native landscapes. The first stop was to visit the happy goats who live on the property. Next, Adrian and Tony did a little bit of gardening at the children’s garden. Then, we took off into the woods with the boys leading the way. Luckily, they were equipped with a map, binoculars, and compass so we were in good hands!
