Every year when wedding season slows down my husband and I always spend more time in the kitchen. We recently discovered a beautiful apple orchard in Caroline County, Blades Orchard. We came home with bushels of apples and not one went to waste. Not only does my son love to eat apples, but you can create so many different canning recipes from them. We started with apple butter and apple jam and then my husband added a variety of hot peppers to create a spicy apple pepper jam. I can’t wait to start handing these out for the holidays!
