The holidays made for the perfect time to get some family photographs of the Browns and Marcenelles while all together in Christiansburg, Virginia. Everyone woke up bright and early and braved the cold and windy day for these shots! Even Madeline’s puppy came along. We walked the Huckleberry Trail and stopped at a really neat looking bridge along the way. This family definitely has a blast together as you can see!
Samantha and Marcus both attended Blacksburg High School together but it wasn’t until they were in college that they started dating. They hit it off so well that a wedding is now planned for this coming July at Maison Beliveau in Blacksburg, Virginia. Samantha is a photographer and Marcus came up with a pretty spectacular proposal. While visiting family in Virginia Beach, Marcus casually suggested they head to the beach and that Samantha bring along her camera and tripod. While Samantha was over setting up the camera and her remote, Marcus was pulling out an engagement ring. Samantha walked back to Marcus and right then he proposed and a quick photograph was taken since it was already set up! To celebrate their engagement, we visited some beautiful spots in Newport, Virginia, the historic covered bride and Spruce Ridge Tree Farm. Congratulations you two!

I am looking for someone who may be interested in taking pictures at an event that we will be having at our church; of different people and/ or couples. I was hoping that this could be another way to help as a fundraiser to help to get monies into our church.
Please feel free to call me; Norma;
Thank you;
I cannot wait for you the big day, you and Marcus are so cute together and you are going to be such a beautiful fun bride!
Thank you so much Laura, I cannot wait to see the magic you can work with the wedding photos, because these are fantastic. It is so nice to know that I have someone I trust taking these important photos, especially when photos of the two of us together are a rarity since i’m usually on the other side of the camera! Thanks again
It seems like just yesterday that Andrew and I were friends in high school wondering where our lives would take us. Time has flown by and he now has a beautiful wife Whitney and two boys that are spitting images of their father. The newest addition is baby Noah who was born only 4 days before this session. His favorite place to be was in the warmth of Whitney’s arms. Brother Gabe is adjusting well to having a little brother and they are going to have some fun times ahead together! Congratulations Andrew and Whitney!

Mary and Chris have known each other for years through work but it wasn’t until recently that they fell in love. In addition to their marriage, a merging of families took place with Mary’s daughter Lainey, and Chris’ twin daughters, Kellie and Kacie. All of their daughters are 9 years old which I thought was pretty incredible! The Homestead in Hot Springs, Virginia has always been a very special place for Mary and Chris. It is where they go for vacation getaways, where their daughters were first introduced, and where Chris proposed in the Spa Gardens. It was only right for the big wedding day to take place here. The ceremony and reception was held in the beautiful Crystal Ballroom with some impressive decorations of carolina blue, silver, and lots of candlelight. Their daughters played a major role in the ceremony and stood front and center to witness the action. After the exchange of rings, Mary and Chris gave necklaces with rings to each daughter as a promise. Afterwards the girls started the party by pulling everyone onto the dance floor and the fun continued from there!

Great memories! I loved this wedding!
Sarah and Brad were set up on a blind date by friends one day and the rest is history. While at home one day, Brad popped the big question and presented a gorgeous ring. The stone belonged to Brad’s grandmother and was fitted in a beautiful new setting. Now a spring wedding is planned at the Historical Society Gardens in Easton, Maryland. For engagement portraits, Sarah and Brad braved the cold in downtown Easton. Even their dog JoJo came along for a few family photos.
A stop at the Coffee Cat for some warmth and coffee was the perfect final stop!
