Christmas for us is usually spent driving to one of our family’s homes and contributing a side dish and/or dessert to Christmas dinner. This year we decided to host and cook dinner for the very first time at our place! My husband, Ron, spent hours pickling, canning, picking out the best meats and ingredients on the shore, chopping, sauteing, smoking, and grilling. I contributed muffins, deviled eggs, lots of cookies, and the decor. I think we pulled it off quite nicely! Thrown in are a few pictures of my son checking out his Christmas gifts.
