Jacquie and Andrey picked their wedding date and location based around where tomatoes would be growing at their peak! Jacquie’s favorite food ever are tomatoes and they even have several growing outside of their home in D.C. It turns out Virginia was the place to be and they chose the beautiful Mill at Fine Creek in Powhatan for their big day. This venue has a beautiful garden out back and they prepare some amazing farm to table meals, perfect for these newlyweds. The ceremony was held inside the ruins of an old home and afterwards, guests enjoyed some amazing food! Jacquie and Andrey opted for a first look before their ceremony and together we explored the beautiful property. I came across the cutest watering can that I had to incorporate into the photographs for these gardeners! The reception was filled with so many fun events including a special Russian dance performed by Andrey and his Mom. Andrey’s Alpha Sig group from college also serenaded Jacquie while she sat in the center of the dance floor! The most fun detail had to be Andrey’s Lord of the Rings grooms cake!
