Whitney and Josh planned the most amazing destination wedding in sunny Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic! Last week I boarded a plane headed for 80+ degree temperatures and a resort filled with palm trees and a sandy beach. Excellence El Carmen just opened their doors in September of this year and everything about it screamed romance! I was welcomed with a glass of champagne followed by the smiling faces of Whitney and Josh, the sweetest couple who first met working for the same beer distributor in Indiana. They had a great turn out of over 40 family members and friends all there to celebrate their marriage!

After getting all dressed up, Whitney had a first look with her father followed by a first look and some time on the beach with Josh. The ceremony took place under the palm trees and overlooked the beautiful blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Both Whitney and Josh wrote their own vows and read them to each other, an emotional moment for everyone. After being announced as husband and wife, all of the guests threw mini beach balls as they walked down the aisle! The reception was a blast with colored lighting, cuban cigars, and a beautiful choreographed first dance. It was a day I and everyone there will remember forever! Congratulations Whitney and Josh!
