Julia & Rakesh tied the knot this past weekend at Tidewater Inn with a mix of Indian and American wedding traditions. The first celebration took place the day before their marriage with an Indian ceremony under the Gold Ballroom Garden Tent. Everyone dressed up in colorful clothing and I especially loved the big flower garlands! The ceremony included the exchange of garlands, lighting of the fire, circling the fire as a couple, the seven steps, throwing of flower petals, and many more beautiful traditions. Afterwards we hit the streets for a colorful few night shots!
