Michaella and Brian’s wedding at the Island Resort Athens Riviera in Greece was a dream come true for not only the bride and groom but myself too! I have a sweet spot for waterside European countries and Greece has always been on my bucket list. Michaella visited here before meeting Brian and this became a top pick for them after deciding they wanted a destination wedding! To make this wedding even more memorable, 150 of their family and friends traveled at the way to Greece to celebrate with Michaella and Brian!

The wedding day itself was spectacular to say the least! The private estate overlooked the Athens Riviera with a completely open air setting. The day started out with a sweet first look surrounded by the iconic pink bougainvillea flowers. Next was a ceremony performed by their good friend with guests decked out in colorful attire filling the seats. After personal vows and the happiest recessional walk, the party started with a first dance where Brian lifted Michaella into the air! The toasts all brought some great laughs and the final toast given by Brian himself ended with a surprise, a fireworks show for all of the guests. It happened to be the 4th of July so the classic Bruce Springsteen song “Born in the USA” was played during the show! A live band performed for the rest of the evening while guests danced away under the open sky!
