Laura's Focus Photography has been shooting at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime in St. Michaels, Maryland for over 10 years. This is my absolute favorite venue on the bay and I even had my own wedding reception in the Small Boat Shed!

The museum is set on a private, 18-acre campus with over 2,000 feet of waterfront offering spectacular views of the Miles River. There are a variety of venue options for your wedding ceremony, reception and rehearsal dinner to choose from.

The most prestigious venue is Navy Point, with water-facing decks of the At Play on the Bay exhibition building, a space ideal for a tented event. The Small Boat Shed is a beautiful indoor, rustic setting nestled amongst a fleet of skiffs. This space has rustic beams, sliding barn doors, and a view of Fogg's Cove. The Fogg's Landing space offers spectacular views of the marina and Fogg's Cove. The gardens surround a secluded event for a tented reception with a ceremony on the boardwalk. New venue options include the new Welcome Center building with the Water Line exhibition and the Patriot, a 65-foot, two-level vessel modeled to resemble a Chesapeake Bay steamboat.
