Buckeye Banjos | Giles County Virginia Photographer

While out at the Palisades Restaurant one evening, I happened to meet the very talented Greg Galbreath who makes the most beautiful handcrafted banjos right from his home in Giles County, Virginia. Right away I was intrigued and asked if he would be interested in having a story in New River Valley Magazine. Greg agreed and I was off to his workshop learning how to put a banjo together from start to finish. Greg’s work is extemely detailed and he has become so popular for his skills that he has over a year waiting list! I am always amazed by the amount of talent we have here in Giles County and the New River Valley! Here are some of my favorite images from my visit and be sure to check out the full story on Buckeye Banjos in the current magazine.
