Louisa and Steve’s love story began on a Monday night in Easton, Maryland and grew into something so meaningful that Steve wrote both a book and a song about their journey together.

When it came time to celebrate their wedding day, there was only one place that felt right: their beautiful waterfront home in Oxford, Maryland. Known by family and friends for hosting unforgettable gatherings, they transformed their property into the ultimate “Garden Party Fabulous” celebration, filled with thoughtful details, incredible food, and plenty of surprises.

Guests gathered along the waterfront for a ceremony overlooking the water, but not before a few memorable arrivals. Steve made his entrance racing up in his Morgan 3 Wheeler, while Louisa arrived in style aboard a Hinckley yacht that pulled up to their dock. One of the biggest crowd favorites came courtesy of the ring bearer, whose important job was to toss bags of peanuts into the crowd, creating plenty of laughter before the ceremony even began. Following their vows, Louisa and Steve sped away together in the Morgan before returning to join guests for cocktail hour and an evening-long celebration.

Every corner of the property reflected their personalities and love of entertaining. Guests enjoyed a waterfront oyster bar, Louisa’s tequila bar, Steve’s bourbon and cigar lounge, elegant lounge seating areas, and countless beautiful floral details. As the evening continued, a wood-fired pizza truck served late-night snacks while a cannoli maker prepared fresh cannolis for guests on demand. Even the desserts reflected local flavor, including classic Smith Island Cake!
